Posted on 10:02 by Unknown
From the "Department of That's No Surprise" comes this video clip of Rachel Maddow running circles around Bill O'Reilly without working up a sweat.

Dumb Questions - Luke Russert and Charlie Rangel Spar For Our Entertainment

Posted on 07:02 by Unknown
I'm no Luke Russert fanboy, but for once, the guy is asking the right questions and pressing to get answers.

Rachel is right - Charlie is in deep doo-doo. The fact that he thinks criticizing a news organization like NBC will garner sympathy for his cause says more about traditional media than it does Charlie Rangel, who appears from the allegations to be as crooked as a country road.

Rachel Maddow's Gulf Oil Map

Posted on 06:02 by Unknown
Well, when you look at it using a map, the uproar over halting exploratory drilling seems even more ridiculous.

Arizona Politician Gets Schooled

Posted on 16:24 by Unknown
As Arizona plunges forward in their quest to become the laughingstock of the world, it's gotten so ridiculous that a high school journalism student makes an elected official stammer, stutter, and run away when confronted by his very own voting record.

As noted in the Maddow blog, a seasoned pol, especially one running to become Arizona's schools superintendent, should have no problem answering some simple funding questions. And yet...

Sometimes all it takes is a television journalist who comes prepared and refuses to have the discussion diverted away from the topic at hand.

Rachel Maddow's Rules for Living

Posted on 08:02 by Unknown
I have a middle-aged man-crush on Rachel Maddow.

Here are her ten Rules for Living.

1) Tweet others as you would wish to be tweeted.

2) Never use glasses you found in the lost and found box.

3) Never turn down anything someone offers you -- it's a sure way not to get it.

4) Never pull anyone's finger.

5) Hot glass looks like cold glass.

6) When climbing a mountain take a measuring tape.

7) Always measure. You owe it to the alcohol.

8) If you've got to fight, be sure you're right -- then win.

9) Never wear your shoes to bed.

10) You want common sense? Sortition for it!

Rachel Maddow Calls 'Neener Neener" on David Koch

Posted on 06:02 by Unknown
Rachel Maddow at her best - calling out David Koch, founder of Americans for Prosperity, on his claims that he's not funding tea party activities. Sure sounds like that's not completely true.
